While they are recognized as the destination for business and leisure, their 18-hole Senator golf course is constantly earning a spot in each of the golfers’ hearts who have come to learn their offerings. The senator course was built in 1964 with Architect Bill Watts. Its fairway grass is a Bermuda 419, and the green is TifEagle.

The greens at Shula’s senator course are ideal for those looking for a surprise along the road. You start with the fairly easy greens until such time you will find yourself facing hazards, starting from the middle of the front side. Then it gets even more exciting as you get to the 11th green where you will be greeted with a thrill only your skill can match up, and as you move forward you will need to conquer holes surround by water.

The senator course comes with amenities that help you feel comfortable. There is a beverage cart, carts, cocktail lounge, clubhouse, club rentals, free range balls, lessons, lockers, practice facilities, PROshop, restaurant, restrooms on course, shoe rentals and shower. If you need quick assistance in the course, there is a handheld Skycaddie available for rent at $10 per round.  

Obligations

The prices for using the Shula’s course vary, but it is usually from $28 to $62 per person, per round. They also have the 5 nights in hotel, 5 rounds of golf special from $982 to $1190. There is also the 2 nights, 2 rounds as an alternative from $195 to $315. In the course, you will be required to wear softspikes, and you should be in your proper golf attire.
